Privacy policy

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to book, shoot and deliver your listing media:

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone number when you book through our client portal, call, text or email us.
• Shoot details: property addresses, gate codes or access instructions, and your preferences for the shoot.
• Billing details: payments are processed through the client portal's payment processor.
• Quote requests: what you enter in the contact form (name, email, phone, brokerage, listing address and shoot details). It's emailed to us and used only to reply to your request.
• Photos and media: images, video, floor plans, 3D tours and drone footage captured at the property.

This website itself does not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To schedule, shoot and deliver the services you book.
• To send confirmations, prep checklists and delivery notices.
• To invoice and collect payment.
• To send occasional updates or offers, only if you've agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
• To meet California AB 723 requirements for digitally altered listing images (see below).

Service providers we use

We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only with providers that help us run the business:

• Client portal and ordering: HDPhotoHub runs clientportal.alerut.photography, where bookings, payments and file delivery happen. It has its own cookies and privacy practices.
• Tours and floor plans: Matterport and CubiCasa host 3D tours and floor plans you order.
• Website hosting: Cloudflare serves this site and may briefly log technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam bots.
• Email delivery: Resend delivers contact form messages and confirmation emails.
• Fonts: this site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
• Analytics: Google Analytics counts page visits using cookies, so we can see which pages agents find useful.

Drone and aerial privacy

All aerials are flown by an FAA Part 107 certified pilot under federal rules and California privacy law. We avoid capturing identifiable people or neighboring property outside the scope of the shoot, and we blur details such as license plates or neighbors' windows if they're captured by accident.

Digitally altered images (AB 723)

Under California Business & Professions Code §10140.8, some listing images may be digitally altered, for example virtually staged. Whenever we deliver an altered image, we also deliver the original, unaltered version to the listing agent so the listing can meet state disclosure requirements. Read our AB 723 guide.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to:

• Know what personal information we've collected about you.
• Delete personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for taxes).
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. We don't sell or share it for advertising.
• Not be discriminated against for using any of these rights.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We'll confirm your identity before acting on it and respond within 45 days.

Security

All traffic to this site is encrypted with HTTPS, and client files and booking records are kept with the providers listed above rather than on this website.
